Silicone LED Strip lights are mainly composed of high-transparent silicone sleeves and light strips for sealing and waterproofing of LED light strips. Because of its strong waterproof effect, it is also called LED light tube waterproof sleeve.

Compared with aluminum linear light troughs, Silicone LED Strip lights can play a greater role and are essential for lighting decoration. Characteristics of silicone hoses:
1. Non-toxic and odorless, high transparency, high flame retardancy, and will not turn yellow after long-term use.
2. Suitable for 4-28MM flexible circuit boards, no brittleness, no cracking, no kinking and no deformation.
3. High softness, good elasticity, ozone resistance, high and low temperature resistance.
4. It has high tear resistance and excellent electrical performance.
Style distinction:
Silicone hoses are divided into true bend and side bend styles, both of which have the luminous side facing up.
1. The square of the light source is a positive bend light trough, which can only bend upward and downward. It is usually used for inner bend shapes, such as arches, and outer bend corner shapes, such as light emission behind mirrors.
2. The light source is placed vertically as a side-bend lamp trough. It can only advance forward and bend backward along the light strip. It is usually used to make arcs or corner shapes on the plane, such as ceilings, wall decorations, etc.
Installation method:
The installation method is also divided into open installation and installation. Before installation, put the light strip into the silicone groove first, and install it after the power-on test is successful.
1. Concealed installation
According to the size of the hose, make a groove at the required wall position-sweep the dust and paint-fix the clip in the groove-nail the screws to fix-then install the hose-connect the power supply.
Also make a groove according to the size of the hose-apply special glue on the back of the silicone-install the hose linear light into the groove-press for 30 seconds to fix the glue to prevent debonding.
2. Open installation
The clip installation can also be used for open installation. Fix the clip on the wall-nail the screws to fix-install the hose.
If used in an outdoor environment, it is recommended to insulate the power connection position of the head and tail of the light strip with glass glue and then wrap it tightly with waterproof tape.
All joints are facing up to prevent water from flowing in.
Waterproof treatment must be done, otherwise water will easily enter and burn the light strip and controller.
